Founder
Max Williams
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Max has always been a Midwest boy at heart. Max's professional journey began with a high school internship, sparking a passion for company building that grew through college and beyond. After working at other funds, he launched Lagomaj Capital, turning initial challenges into a thriving firm that invested in early-stage B2B startups. While at Lagomaj, he led more than three dozen investments in businesses around the country and cofounded a startup that created software tools for VCs. When a portfolio company's growth was being limited by access to high-tech equipment, he led a team to construct a cutting-edge R&D facility in his hometown.

As a kid, golf was his first love, a passion he pursued relentlessly throughout his high school years. However, as Max packed up to attend Northwestern University, he temporarily hung up his clubs to explore other avenues. But the call of the green was too strong, and he found himself back on the course during his time at Stanford Business School (albeit with a much higher handicap.)
Founder
Willie Jin
Willie, the son of scientists, was driven from a young age by an insatiable curiosity about how the world works and a desire to improve it. These motivations still fuel him as an entrepreneur. He's revamped sales organizations by developing ideal customer profiles for thousands of sales leads and building data pipelines between Salesforce and Snowflake. Additionally, he has worked closely with product teams to scope and develop new offerings. Willie has also analyzed long-term cohort and unit economics and advised fundraising decisions for major private and public management teams.​

Willie grew up in the suburbs of Georgia. From there, he studied at Harvard University and Stanford Business School and worked at various investment firms and startups. Many of his hobbies revolve around sports or outdoor activity. He played in a recreational basketball league in New York City and continues to love airballing at local pickup games. As someone who decided to pick up skill-intensive hobbies as an adult (skiing and golf), Willie is no stranger to adversity and possesses a never-give-up attitude. This spills over to his everyday life— as a fan of Atlanta sports, Willie knows that hope springs eternal.​​​
